Within the Group’s Information Risk and Data Protection Office, temporarily support the Group Data Protection Officer to:
YOUR ROLE:
1. Maintain the Group’s data protection framework: directives, privacy notices, work instructions.
2. Conduct privacy due-diligence of third parties and collaborate with Legal in the setup of Data Processing Agreements.
3. Support the business in the maintenance of the Records of Processing Activities and in the execution of Data Privacy Impact Assessments.
4. Partner with all key business areas to ensure data privacy requirements are considered at the outset of new projects, products and initiatives in line with the Privacy by design and by Privacy by default principles.
5. Maintain the personal data breach register and follow-up on remedial plans.
6. Coordinate the handling of Subject Requests such as, access requests, withdrawal of consent requests, erasure requests etc.
YOUR PROFILE:
7. University Degree in law and/or in the field of Information Security, Technology, or Risk Management.
8. Hold privacy certification(s) or specialisation in this area (e.g. CIPM, CIPP/E, CIPT, CDPSE)
9. 3 to 5 years of experience in the operationalisation of data privacy frameworks.
10. Experience in the banking industry and/or with privacy tools is an advantage.
11. Expertise in Swiss and European data protection laws and practices and an in-depth understanding of the GDPR.
12. Have the ability to develop awareness and communications at all levels
13. Strong attention to detail and high work standards, excellent writing, organisational and problem solving skills.
14. Ability to work well in both a team and individually. Keen to develop and use initiative.
