What you’ll do:
* Conduct laboratory work for the production and characterization of cell banks from a variety of microbial production strains under GMP conditions.
* Support the project leader in planning, conducting and evaluating tests, as well as working independently on assigned project tasks.
* Write and review SOPs and reports for various projects in accordance with GMP guidelines.
* Share responsibility for routine tasks in laboratory maintenance including GMP status maintenance of the clean rooms and in operating the cell banking inventory system.
* Engage in diverse responsibilities including training and supporting laboratory and scientific staff, as well as supervising interns and/or trainees.
What we’re looking for:
* A degree in biology or biotechnology, ideally with 2 years relevant professional experience.
* Practical experience in microbiological and molecular biological methods.
* Experience with GMP standards and an affinity for working in clean room would be advantageous.
* Proficiency of English (both spoken and written) is required; German is an advantage.
* A flexible and motivated personality with a keen interest in microbiological work techniques, responsible behavior, as well as strong communication and teamwork skills.
