Position: GBTS Engineering Project Manager
Your Tasks: Create and maintain project plans and schedules based on inputs such as WBS/WBE and estimated efforts, including delivery schedules provided by suppliers.
Define detailed activity planning including project reviews based on mandated engineering processes (ISO 15288 for System Engineering and ISO 12207 for Software Engineering).
Chair engineering review meetings, capturing decisions and assigning actions/tasks using tools such as Jira and BigPicture.
Coordinate communication among the GBTS engineering team to ensure tasks are conducted as planned and defined KPIs can be measured.
Coordinate communication with production engineering to ensure correct planning and delivery of fabricated components (e.g., parts and components).
Manage identified suppliers ensuring deliverables align with necessary timing and costs as per the allocated project budget.
Support estimation activities for timelines and costs of new projects.
With this you convince us: Engineering master's degree, preferably in software electronic or aeronautical engineering.
At least five years of proven working experience in engineering project management for the design and development of integrated software and hardware systems, e.g., for the automotive or aviation industry. Specific experience in flight simulators engineering or software-based learning systems (Computer Based Training) is an advantage.
Sound knowledge of system engineering processes and standards (e.g., ISO 15288 or equivalent).
Proficiency in project management practices and procedures as well as project management tools such as Microsoft Project, BigPicture or similar. PRINCE or PMP accreditation is an advantage.
Excellent social and communication skills with fluency in English (C1) both spoken and written.
Ability to perform under tight deadlines and pressure on parallel activities, prioritizing tasks with a structured approach and working well in a team or individually with a proactive attitude.
