Linux/Application/DevOps Engineer
We are seeking an experienced engineer to join our team at myIT, a branch of myWork AG. Our team specializes in IT recruitment, leveraging a robust network of IT specialists and companies in Switzerland.
The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c, SE2/EE, RMAN, expdp/impdp), as well as MS SQL Server databases. A strong background in database performance analysis, optimization, and scripting for operations is essential.
In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both in German and English, and be able to work independently with a high sense of responsibility and motivation.
Responsibilities:
* Development and operation of the Oracle platform
* Database performance analysis, optimization, and scripting for operations
* Monitoring, troubleshooting, and backup & recovery
* Supporting application managers and working on projects
Qualifications:
* Completed computer science training, ideally with a higher technical qualification
* Minimal 4 years of practical experience in the enterprise environment of Oracle databases
* Experience with MS SQL Server databases
* Good knowledge of German and English
* Swiss citizenship or B/C-Permit
