Within the Information Technology Department, you will be part of a young and multicultural team distributed across global MSC development sites.
The Product Owner within MSC collaborates with engineering teams and stakeholders to define and manage a roadmap, create and own the product backlog while enabling the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software applications to meet the company’s strategic objectives and business requirements.
In this specific role, you will take the responsibility as a Product Owner of our intranet portal (SharePoint based) and collaborate with the Marketing department to reflect upgrades and changes. You will be the first point of contact between the business based in our Geneva’s HQ and our development team based in Italy.
Some of your key responsibilities:
1. Collect and translate business requirements to technical specifications.
2. Define and own the roadmap and product backlog for multiple projects.
3. Work with the development teams to facilitate product development.
4. Monitor and report deliverables.
5. Proactively and continuously identify risks and opportunities.
6. Report project status to the IT team leader.
7. Contribute to the development of training materials.
8. Take leadership and/or participate in testing of MSC IT applications to ensure business requirements have been met with the expected quality.
9. Support the IT Development Manager on CRM related projects.
Who are you?
1. 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner with previous experience as Business Analyst or similar working with distributed teams.
2. Experience in CRM process and products is a plus (Salesforce, Dynamics).
3. Experience in Shipping or Logistics is a strong plus.
4. Deep knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile frameworks.
5. Knowledge of test methodologies and tools.
6. Experience working with web applications and/or CMS systems.
7. Fluency in English, C1 minimum.
8. You are a European Citizen already located in Europe.
