About Sr Business System Analyst Finance:
At Distalmotion, Transformation is an incremental approach to changing the way our organization operates to achieve significant improvements in efficiency. It involves the streamlining and integration of business processes (BP), Master Data (MD), and Business Applications- including, but not limited to, ERP, CRM, PLM, ALM and EQMS. The goal is to drive operational efficiency, elevate customer satisfaction and foster value creation.
As part of a growing business, you will join the Transformation Office as part of the Business Applications group focus on the ERP. You will act as a bridge between business needs and ERP solutions, gathering requirements, optimizing workflows, troubleshooting issues, enhancing configuration and ensuring technology effectively supports business objectives.
You will collaborate with stakeholders, gathering business requirements and implementing them providing configuration and work with developers when needed to modify the system. The Sr BSA plays a critical role in the team as will be prioritizing requests, leading implementations, guiding the business and communicating with Stakeholders.
* Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog for QAD to maximize value.
* Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into system solutions.
* Identify improvements and recommend technology optimizations.
* Act as a liaison and collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to implement solutions.
* Support system implementation, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
* Conduct and lead testing and ensure system quality.
* Maintain documentation, reports, and compliance with company policies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Requirement Gathering & Analysis
Lead discussions with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements. Translate complex business needs into functional and technical specifications. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
* Process Improvement & System Optimization
Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation or optimization. Recommend technology solutions that align with business goals.
* System Implementation & Support
Work with development teams to design, test, and deploy new systems or enhancements. Provide post-implementation support, identifying and resolving system issues.
* Stakeholder Communication & Collaboration
Act as a liaison between business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors. Facilitate meetings, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between business and technology teams. Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on system capabilities and improvements.
* Testing & Quality Assurance
Develop test plans and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate that system changes meet business requirements before deployment.
* Documentation & Reporting
Maintain comprehensive documentation of system processes, workflows, and changes. Generate reports and dashboards to track system performance and business impact.
* Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure system changes comply with industry regulations and company policies. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Work Experience and Education requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience within a similar role, with a demonstrated understanding of QAD ERP System.
* Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
* Experience in Finance and field Service areas.
* Formal certification in maintaining/administering ERP systems, such as QAD Certified.
* Previous experience working in a regulated environment is desirable.

* Knowledge in data integration and visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI.
