Anton Paar Switzerland AG, the Swiss sales subsidiary of Anton Paar, is looking for a motivated and committed sales manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
* Achieve and exceed annual sales targets for Anton Paar Switzerland.
* Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team and Team Leaders to meet business objectives.
* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of sales personnel.
* Manage target setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of product specialists to optimize sales activities.
* Ensure effective pipeline management and provide the General Manager with regular pipeline forecasts.
* Develop and implement annual marketing plans in collaboration with the Marketing Manager to enhance brand awareness and improve lead generation.
* Define and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
* Support the General Manager in setting strategic sales budget plans based on market assessment.
* Ensure the sales organization operates within the agreed operating expense budget.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Actively participate in the Anton Paar Switzerland Management Team, fostering strong working relationships with Service, Administration, Marketing, and Product Line organizations.
* Serve as the principal commercial interface between Anton Paar Switzerland and product line organizations.
* Provide direct field sales support to sales engineers to enhance sales execution.
* Ensure compliance with Group policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
* Optimize sales efficiency through local policies and procedures.
* Ensure effective use of the company’s CRM system by all sales team members.
* Perform any other duties as reasonably expected or requested by the General Manager.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree in physics, chemistry, material science, engineering, or a related discipline.
* Minimum 3 years of sales management experience.
* Proven experience in scientific instrument sales.
* In-depth knowledge of the Swiss laboratory and process instrumentation market is an advantage.
* Strong business and financial acumen.

* Fluency in German & English (French is an advantage).
Additional Information:
* Work Environment: Field-based role with up to 80% office presence.
* Mobility: Must be located within commuting distance of Baden (AG) or Corcelles (NE).
* Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel regularly, including occasional international trips.
* Valid Swiss or EU driving license required.
