Talent Acquisition Professional at Capgemini Engineering
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical System Engineer to join our organization and work on exciting space applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the electrical design and development of mechanisms and associated harnesses, ensuring compliance with industry standards and collaborating with cross-functional teams for the successful delivery of cutting-edge space technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electrical systems for space applications, including the design of associated harnesses.
* Review electrical requirements and create compliance documents in collaboration with System Engineers.
* Lead technical design review meetings with suppliers and customers.
* Design high-reliability Flex/Rigid-Flex PCBs using tools like Altium Designer or Siemens Xpedition.
* Define space electronics requirements and manage subcontractors.
* Plan and lead qualification and acceptance tests (e.g., EMC, micro-vibration tests).
* Specify and support the commissioning of EGSEs.
* Provide electrical support for Non-Conformance (NC) cases and participate in root-cause analysis.
* Prepare technical documentation (e.g., stress analysis, radiation analysis).
* Analyze and simulate electrical circuits using software tools.
Requirements:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
* Experience in the space industry is essential.
* Proven ability to write detailed and accurate technical documentation.
* Experience with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of radiation aspects (TID, SEE) and circuit simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB) is an asset.
* Experience with EMC testing and space quality standards (NASA/ECSS/MIL).
* Experience in lab environments and clean rooms.
* Knowledge of microelectronics, microprocessor/FPGAs programming, and LabView programming is an advantage.
* Self-organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects.
* Proficient in English (spoken and written); French/German is a plus.
