The Position
As the Director Patient Engagement Strategy, Cardiometabolic Marketing you will lead the cross-functional matrix team in delivering the patient engagement strategy for IO. Concretely, you will:
1. Create and manage patient journeys in top markets with IOSO, Regions, Affiliates, and HQ.
2. Analyze, identify, and drive areas of opportunity for growth or resource allocation.
3. Set direction, develop skills, coach, and guide Regions and Affiliate managers.
4. Lead capability building together with regions for patient engagement.
5. Create operationally useful frameworks for affiliate patient journeys in top markets.
6. Drive insights to ensure impactful decision-making and prioritization.
7. Lead and challenge patient engagement projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
8. Secure endorsement by relevant senior management stakeholders and boards.
9. Continuously improve project execution, optimizing resources and quality of deliverables.
10. Ensure high visibility of projects and regular communication with team and stakeholders.
11. Shape stakeholders’ perceptions to support new strategic initiatives and solutions.
12. Encourage teams to develop strategic “win-win” solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with:
1. A master’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Marketing, or equivalent.
2. Hands-on experience with key digital marketing tools such as Google Ads, Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, and Social Media Analytics.
3. Expertise within patient & consumer-like engagement within Rx.
4. A minimum of 10 years of commercial experience.
5. Proven track record with patient strategy.
6. Experience within the Pharma industry is crucial.
7. Cross-functional, international experience.
