Description of the Role
The Process Engineering Section Manager oversees and organizes a team to provide production with reliable processes, tools, and methods to achieve company targets in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop robust processes ensuring stable production.
* Analyze causes of non-quality (lots on hold, scrap, yield lost) and define action plans/programs to solve root causes.
* Provide real-time support to production in case of problems on lots or equipment.
* Define and drive continuous improvement projects.
* Establish strategy for new processes and tools.
The role requires developing and empowering the team, ensuring company standards and rules are deployed and effectively used. Gaps will be assessed, and action plans set to ensure objectives are deployed and understood, maintaining a motivated team focused on company targets.
