We are seeking an IT Administrator to support our business hubs in Zurich and London, as well as users across several European countries, from our Zurich office.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure the reliability, security, and high performance of our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and desktops through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
2. Provide timely technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware and software issues, with a focus on first and second-line troubleshooting.
3. Support network configuration, manage firewalls and VPNs, and troubleshoot connectivity issues to maintain seamless communication.
4. Implement and manage robust security protocols, antivirus software, patching, and updates to ensure data protection compliance.
5. Install, configure, and manage hardware (computers, printers, phones) and software (operating systems, office suites, specialized applications), leveraging 'one touch' deployment strategies for efficiency.
6. Develop and implement comprehensive data backup and archiving procedures to guarantee data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities, verifying backup systems and addressing failures promptly.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for IT processes, procedures, and asset inventory.
8. Assist with IT projects, such as system upgrades, deployments, and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions.
9. Liaise with external vendors for IT equipment, software licensing, and technical support agreements to optimize relationships.
About You
* Prior experience in IT Administration or Systems Support, preferably in a similar environment, is required, with a minimum of 3 years.
* Proficiency in Mac (primary) and Windows (secondary) operating systems is essential.
* Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and networking issues are crucial.
* IT Security and Cloud Management experience is mandatory.
* Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar) are beneficial but not required.
* Solid Soft Skills include excellent communication skills, customer-service orientation, and time management abilities.
* Exceptional Problem Solving skills, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities are necessary to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
* Excellent spoken and written English language proficiency is required, as we communicate primarily in English.
