Job Title:
Product Manager - SonarQube Cloud, Server, and IDE
We are looking for passionate Product Managers to join our team at SonarSource. As a Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the vision and roadmap for our products, including SonarQube Cloud, SonarQube Server, and SonarQube for IDE.
About Us:
SonarSource is a group of brilliant, motivated, and driven professionals working hard to help organizations build responsible, secure, high-quality code quickly and systematically. We have a dynamic culture with employees worldwide and hub offices in the USA, Switzerland, the UK, Singapore, and Germany.
Your Impact:
As a Product Manager, you will contribute to the development of our analysis capabilities, ensuring that we provide a seamless and intuitive configuration and ongoing experience for users. You will work closely with engaged Engineering teams to ensure that proposed solutions meet the expected outcome and that we collectively deliver the best products to help development teams write better code.
Your Responsibilities:
* Contribute to product visions and communicate them internally and externally.
* Research, clarify, and prioritize opportunities to build and maintain an effective roadmap.
* Interact with users and customers on our product forum to support them, integrate their feedback, and identify opportunities.
* Develop a deep understanding of software development pipelines, analysis processing, and integration points.
* Work closely with other product managers to design cross-product features.
* Align with engineering teams on problems to solve and support them during end-to-end development stages.
* Sync with engineering teams to ensure a good balance between innovation, consolidation, and stability.
* Attend conferences and give talks if desired.
* Help the Product Management team grow in its organization, tools, and processes.
Requirements:
* Passionate about programming and software development.
* Experience in software product management, preferably in an agile context.
* Technical comprehension of architectures related to code scanning and static analysis.
* Highly autonomous and pragmatic.
* Open-minded and positive can-do attitude.
* Comfortable dealing with change, complexity, and uncertainty.
* Self-confident enough to challenge the status quo as well as receive feedback.
* Leadership: ability to take initiative and lead a subject from beginning to end.
Why Work with Us:
We offer a dynamic work culture that values respect and kindness – and embraces the right to fail (and get right back up again). We believe that great people make a great company. We value people skills as much as technical skills and strive to keep things friendly and laid-back while still being passionate leaders in our domains.
We prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion. We recognize the value of different backgrounds and global cultures. We are committed to creating a diverse work environment and are proud to be an equal-opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
All offers of employment at Sonar are contingent upon the clear results of a comprehensive background check conducted prior to the start date. Applications submitted through agencies or third-party recruiters will not be considered.
