To support our growth plans, we are looking for a Webmaster to join the Marketing team, reporting to the Ecommerce Solution Architect. You’ll be part of a fantastic team of designers, developers, and marketers working to build a cutting-edge direct-to-consumer platform.
This role is ideally suited for someone with a few years of work experience who is now looking to take the next step in their career. Currently, the focus of the role is less on front-end development, UX, or design, and more on web management and merchandising. Please see the responsibilities outlined below.
This position follows a hybrid working schedule, requiring at least two days per week at our Swiss office in the EPFL Innovation Center in Lausanne. Our team operates across two continents and multiple time zones, so you’ll need to strike the right balance between collaboration and independence. Fluency in English, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills, is essential.
What you’ll be doing
Web Management:
* Maintain and update our website, including product listings, landing pages, banners, and promotions.
* Troubleshoot website issues and liaise with developers when necessary.
* Perform regular site audits to ensure accuracy, functionality, and performance.
* Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and overall UX/UI in collaboration with the design and development teams.
* Manage and optimize product catalogues on Shopify and Amazon.
* Ensure product pages are accurate, engaging, and optimized for SEO.
* Set up and manage collections, cross-sells, and upsell strategies to drive revenue.
* Monitor and update pricing, inventory, and promotions to align with marketing campaigns.
Data & Analytics:
* Track and analyze website and product performance using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify reports.
* Use data-driven insights to make recommendations for improving conversion rates and customer experience.
* Ensure the site is compliant with region-specific privacy laws, manage and monitor our consent management setup.
* Work closely with marketing, design, and product teams to align site content with brand messaging and campaigns.
* Assist in the execution of A/B tests and other optimization experiments.
* Coordinate with customer support to address ecommerce-related issues or feedback.
Experience and skills required
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, ecommerce, or a related field.
* 2+ years of experience in ecommerce, web management, or digital merchandising (internships count!).
* Worked in Shopify and Amazon Seller Central
* Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website troubleshooting.
* Proficiency in Google Analytics and other analytics tools.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
* Passion for ecommerce, digital trends, and providing exceptional customer experience.
Experience with the following platforms and tech is advantageous:
* Experience with SEO optimization and keyword research.
* Familiarity with graphic design tools (we use Figma).
* Familiarity with site builders (we use Framer).
* Knowledge of email marketing platforms (we use Klaviyo).
* Social Commerce: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok.
* Experience with A/B testing tools (we use convert.com) and CRO (conversion rate optimization) best practices.
Candidates with a higher education in Web marketing, Digital Media, Web design or a related field are preferred. We will only accept candidates who are able to work in Switzerland and looking for a full-time, permanent position.
