Main Purpose of the Job To successfully deliver the project objectives (e.g. results, processes, products) through a structured approach that includes: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitor and Control, and Closure.

To build and lead the project team.
To ensure project scope, milestones, deliverables, and client’s expectations are clear for all team members. To clarify roles and responsibilities and enable good use of individual technical and management skills.
To ensure proactive and transparent communication internally and with the client.
To initiate project plans in alignment with the Project Proposal. To plan communication including external and internal interfaces. To anticipate roadblocks to proactively solve and prevent deviations. To ensure all key interfaces are up to date and aligned to customer needs. To share our needs to be efficient and effective with the client.
To manage risk/uncertainty and control the scope of the project.
To control the scope of the PO and ensure that any out-of-scope work is duly addressed, being the BU decision to cover the difference with a new PO or not. To run a risk-impact analysis of project resources and to inform planning and purchasing. To propose and control the fixed costs and the investment budget. To measure and ensure good profitability of the project.
Requirements A degree in Chemistry is required (PhD preferred).
Extensive experience in a scientific area such as R&D, Process development, Pilot Plant, or Manufacturing ideally in a CDMO environment.
Familiarity with GMP production would be preferred.
Experience in Project management would be preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both orally and written.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisational skills.
Ability to build strong collaborative relationships internally and externally.
Ability to multitask and work to demanding and changing schedules and priorities.
This role can be a hybrid role; we would require someone to come to the site in Staad 1-2 days a week.
