Job Description
An IT Project Manager will collaborate with stakeholders and implement a project workplan to achieve objectives. The Project Manager will lead daily/weekly meetings and help resolve team issues.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Planning: Prepare plans and specifications from technical requirements produced by IT teams.
2. Liaison: Work with internal resources, partners, vendors, and external stakeholders on current and future projects.
3. Progress Monitoring: Track daily progress and provide timely updates to key stakeholders.
4. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation regularly.
5. Timeline Realignment: Realign timescale expectations when programme or project slippage occurs.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across a global and multicultural remote team.
Requirements
* Language Proficiency: Proficient in English, both verbal and written; additional languages a plus.
* Project Management Experience: Experience as a Project Manager or Lead, administering project plans/timelines.
* Nationality or Work Permit: Swiss/EU nationality or existing working permit in Switzerland required.
* Hospitality Experience: Working experience in hospitality and/or hotel pre-openings highly desirable.
* Smartsheet Experience: Proven experience using Smartsheet.
* Project Management Knowledge: Understanding of project management processes, standards, and governance.
* Stakeholder Management: Proven experience managing stakeholders at all levels, providing service to achieve successful outcomes.
* Time Management: Excellent time management and organisational skills, ability to meet deadlines.
* Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and consistency of work.
* Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
