Your Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-driven People Operations & Finance Generalist to join our dynamic startup team. In this multifaceted role, you will be instrumental in managing key HR and accounting functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, payroll, and policy creation. Main Responsibilities
Human Resources
Source and recruit top-tier talent for part-time and full-time positions across global markets, ensuring alignment with organizational needs and culture.
Lead and optimize onboarding processes, including contract preparation and administration, to provide a seamless and welcoming experience for new hires.
Oversee and manage Employer of Record (EOR) contracts for international employees, ensuring compliance with local regulations and efficient service delivery.
Prepare, submit, and track leave and disability documentation, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and company policies.
Work with company leaders to develop, update, and maintain comprehensive company policies covering key areas such as workplace conduct, remote work, employee benefits, data protection, diversity and inclusion, and health and safety.
Organize and execute team meetups, company-wide events, and employee engagement initiatives to cultivate a strong, inclusive company culture and community spirit.
Support performance management initiatives, assisting managers with goal-setting, performance tracking, and feedback processes.
Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns, mediating disputes, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
Oversee comprehensive onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting exit interviews and facilitating knowledge transfer to maintain organizational continuity.
Collaborate with leadership to design and implement initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and position InoHealth as a top employer in the industry.
Finance
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including the accurate preparation and submission of VAT, tax filings, and social contributions.
Oversee international payroll systems and manage relationships with Employer of Record service providers to ensure seamless payroll processing.
Develop and manage budgets, prepare financial reports, and conduct cost analyses to provide actionable insights and support organizational decision-making.
Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms for financial tracking, reporting, and process optimization.
Handle multi-currency transactions and international financial processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a global context.
Ensure financial compliance in a start-up environment, including preparation for audits, adherence to reporting standards, and implementation of best practices.
Essential Requirements
Fluency in English with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proven track record in recruiting international and remote candidates, successfully sourcing and onboarding talent across diverse regions.
Comprehensive understanding of payroll processes, including deductions, taxes, and social contributions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Passionate about developing and implementing initiatives that foster a positive company culture and drive employee engagement and retention.
Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting to achieve common goals.
Strong time-management skills, able to meet deadlines and provide regular updates on progress to ensure smooth operations.
Highly adaptable to take on diverse tasks and responsibilities as the company evolves and grows.
Keen to continuously learn and develop new skills, with a readiness to tackle challenges in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in German or French is a strong asset, enhancing communication with local teams and candidates.
Experience recruiting for technical roles such as software engineers, data scientists, and IT specialists, with a deep understanding of the talent pool in these fields.
Familiarity with industry-standard tools and methodologies used in the tech sector, including programming languages and software development processes.
Hands-on experience with BambooHR software for HR management, streamlining processes like onboarding, performance tracking, and employee data management.
Experience with Employer of Record services such as Deel and/or Horizons, ensuring smooth and compliant international hiring and payroll processes.
Familiarity with Upwork for sourcing freelancers and managing remote talent effectively.
