For our customer, a big pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a Scientist Immunology and Cardiovascular/Metabolic Disease (m/f/d).

In the Immunology and Cardiovascular/Metabolic Therapeutic Area, you will be part of a highly collaborative, international group of researchers that are developing innovative medicines for the future.
We are currently looking for a scientist to organize, manage, and evaluate outsourced in vitro and in vivo studies to support the R&D efforts of the Therapeutic Area.
The perfect candidate: is someone who wants to influence their own development. They enjoy teamwork, diligence, and efficiency. Additionally, the candidate should hold a PhD in Life Sciences and have more than 2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical research setting. The person must possess excellent organization and planning skills, as well as experience in the analysis of preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies. Lastly, the candidate must be fluent in English.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
1. Carefully design, organize, and manage externally run studies in collaboration with internal scientists, procurement, and contract research organizations in a timely manner.
2. Act as an advisor for study design: Define scientific rationale, success metrics, and monitor progress.
3. Provide high-quality analysis of conducted studies and summarize, present, and discuss study results with project teams.
4. Ensure excellent interaction with vendors and maintain an overview of activities and capabilities of relevant CROs.
5. Work on a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.
Must Haves:
1. Min. 2 years of working experience in a pharmaceutical research setting.
2. Excellent organization and planning skills, experience in the analysis of preclinical in vitro and in vivo studies.
3. Excellent team worker, skillfully interacting with internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple tasks in parallel.
4. Excellent data management and record-keeping skills.
5. Fluent in English.
