We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist for our clinic who is committed to therapeutic excellence for our patients. You will be responsible for doing diagnostic assessments, making customized treatment plans with goals and objectives, providing crisis intervention as needed, and following up with patients to ensure they are receiving appropriate ongoing care. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of clinical experience working with mental health patients as well as a current LMHC (licensed mental health counselor) license. Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality therapy to individuals on a mostly weekly basis.
* Reassess patient situations and provide appropriate follow-up care based on their current needs.
* Maintain proper notes and documentation.
* Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies to deal with their problems.
* Create a safe space for clients to come to where they feel seen and heard.
* Evaluate the client's mental condition based on the review of client information and develop treatment plans.
* Build a trusting relationship and rapport with clients.
* Offer resources and referrals when needed.
* Determine the status of patients' mental health through various assessments.
* Provide crisis intervention as needed.
* Work with patients to develop individualized treatment plans.
* Monitor each patient situation on a frequent basis and offer appropriate follow-up care.
Qualifications
* Possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and great communication and interpersonal skills.
* 1-3 years in a clinical setting working with mental health patients is required.
* Training and/or experience in treating anxiety and trauma-related disorders.
* EMDR training preferred.
* Must be a licensed LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist.
* Must be licensed in TX.
* Must be comfortable working remotely.
* Must be proficient in virtual technology (e.g., Gmail, Zoom, electronic EHR, etc.).
* High school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or equivalent; master’s degree preferred.
* CPR and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications are required.
* Licensure in the state you reside as a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) or the equivalent is required.
Compensation: $56,000 - $81,000 yearly
