Project Worker Specialist

Your role and responsibilities
As a Senior Global Mobility Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of international assignments for our organization's employees. This position requires a deep understanding of immigration laws, tax regulations, and relocation processes across various countries. Your expertise will ensure seamless transitions for employees relocating internationally while maintaining compliance with local laws and company policies. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid. You will be mainly accountable for:
1. International Assignment Management: Coordinate end-to-end mobility processes for employees relocating internationally, including assignment planning, immigration, tax compliance, and relocation logistics handling over 100 deployments primarily related to project workers. Short-term and long-term assignment support as needed.
2. Policy Implementation: Review and update global mobility processes to ensure superior support to the business.
3. Vendor Management: Engage with external vendors such as immigration lawyers, tax consultants, and relocation service providers. Ensure services provided meet quality standards and are cost-effective.
4. Consultation and Support: Serve as a subject matter expert on global mobility matters, providing guidance and support to employees, managers, and HR business partners on assignment-related issues.
5. Tax and Legal Compliance: Stay abreast of changes in international tax laws, immigration regulations, and employment legislation to ensure compliance and minimize risks associated with global assignments.
6. Budget Management: Develop and manage assignment budget, including forecasting costs associated with assignments, relocation, tax equalization, and other related expenses.
7. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze mobility data to identify trends, track key metrics, and generate reports for senior management, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
8. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with HR, legal, finance, and other stakeholders to address complex mobility issues and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance the employee experience, and optimize the effectiveness of global mobility programs.
Qualifications for the role
* Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, International Relations, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in global mobility, international HR, or related fields.
* In-depth knowledge of immigration, tax, and employment laws across multiple countries.
* Strong understanding of relocation best practices and cultural considerations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Proficiency in HRIS systems and mobility management software.
* Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
* Fluency in English, any additional language will be beneficial.
