With responsibility for the overall financial reporting process of Europe business, this role is essential to the future success and growth of our organization. It includes extensive planning, analysis & generation of management reports to cover depth and breadth of business. Collaborating closely with other departments and senior leadership all the way up to CFO and President will be an important part of day-to-day activities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of monthly US GAAP Financial Statements, Rolling Forecasts, Weekly Reports, and Annual Budgets, taking full accountability for their completeness and accuracy.
Overseeing all aspects of financial accounting, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the Balance Sheet and Income Statement.
Leading all planning activities, including Finance Reviews, Quarterly/Mid-Year Reviews, and Annual Budget Reviews, aligning targets with management objectives.
Coordinating year-end and quarterly reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with external reporting standards.
Acting as a proactive partner to Business Units, Functions, and Countries by providing comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual data packs to keep management informed on business performance.
Managing World Area Cost Centre spending and assess capital expenditure requests to ensure effective allocation of resources.
Ensuring compliance with Emerson Corporate Policies and local statutory requirements.
Providing accounting expertise to the European organization while driving continuous improvement initiatives, such as process standardization across Europe and the modernization of reporting through intelligent automation.
Fostering talent development within the organization by building a cohesive and well-structured European Finance team, ensuring stability and continuity.
Who You Are:
You readily distinguish between what’s relevant and what’s unimportant to make sense of complex situations, remaining energized and effective when faced with ambiguity and uncertainty.
You have an in-depth understanding of how businesses work and make money. You transform financial information into business intelligence through analysis and integration of available information and are able to provide balanced feedback at the most critical times, delivering messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.
For This Role, You Will Need:
A university degree or equivalent experience is required.
Demonstrated progressive experience in a finance role within an international environment.
Strong communication, general management, and project management skills.
In-depth knowledge of US GAAP standards.
Proficiency with commonly used IT finance tools, including SAP, Oracle, HFM, and Microsoft Office.
Fluency in English is essential, with proficiency in additional languages considered an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Advanced education in Finance or an MBA.
Ability to work successfully in a matrix organization and to interact with high level management.
