2. Be responsible for the design efficiency and operating effectiveness of Run-the-bank (RTB) controls, ensuring that only accredited/trained staff operate controls and processes. All exceptions must be well understood, appropriately commented, and reflect the proper RAG status.
3. Ensure processes are completed in line with SOPs, and sufficient evidence is documented to meet KPCs/KPCis.
4. Manage reference and static changes in the CTC rec tool.
5. Work together with various group operations teams on reporting regional team outstanding exceptions and with global stakeholders to ensure UBS' obligations to risk committee reporting requirements.
6. Act as an intermediary to ensure operation queries are resolved in a timely manner related to various risk reports generated for operation teams.
Your team
You’ll be working in the Exception Management Operations in Switzerland. Exception Management is a static team that takes care of setting up new accounts, amending or closing accounts in the reconciliation tool CTC. You will also check for any missing balance issues or any feed issues and ensure the correct feeds are loaded in CTC.
Apart from the above, your role would require generating, publishing, and reviewing critical regulatory reports across group operation teams on a weekly, monthly, yearly, and ad hoc basis.
Your expertise
1. Exposure to Operations/Back-Office area, ideally with reference data, static updates, and reconciliations of Nostro/Depot across various banking products.
2. Ensure compliance of the wider team with KPCs and all SOX evidencing requirements.
3. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
4. Generate ad hoc risk reports.
5. Customer and risk-oriented personality.
6. Good written and oral communication skills.
