Position Summary The Global Product Marketing Director - Digital Solutions is a strategic leadership role responsible for leading the product marketing and go-to-market strategy of Straumann digital solutions – a diverse portfolio comprising digital devices, clinical software, patient-specific design services and integrated digital dentistry workflows. This position will play a key role in driving the next generation of Straumann digital solutions, supporting the long-term strategic aspirations of the fast-growing CCS business. The Global Product Marketing Director - Digital Solutions will lead a team of product marketing managers whose mission is to drive commercialization of Straumann digital solutions by developing go to market strategy, business models, value propositions and marketing plans for the different customer segments, across the entire CCS portfolio of products, in support of Straumann’s digital business objectives. This position will drive collaboration cross-functionally with a team of experienced colleagues in product management, sales and marketing from several business units and regions in a fast moving, high growth, matrix organization. This newly created position reports to the VP, Head of Growth & Product Marketing (CCS). The role is global in scope, based in Basel, Switzerland, and requires significant presence in the countries with approximately 20-30% travel required. Main Tasks and Responsibilities: Develop and communicate a clear, visionary product marketing strategy that aligns with Straumann Group’s long-term business objectives. Build, coach and develop a high performance team of product marketing managers to drive commercialization of Straumann digital solutions across the entire CCS portfolio. Lead the development of go to market strategies for different market segments including General Practitioners, Specialists, Dental Service Organizations and Universities. Create and implement new business models to lower barriers to entry and drive market penetration, long term profitability and connect customers to the Straumann platform. Lead the development of value propositions, sales- and marketing plans, campaigns and selling tools. Lead and manage voice of customer (VOC) and voice of market (VOM) activities. Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and workflows through direct engagement and data-driven insights. Advocate for the customer at every stage of the product lifecycle, from conception through to market launch and beyond. Utilize data and analytics to inform product marketing strategies, identify market opportunities, and measure performance. Drive collaboration with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders concerning product launch, development and commercialization. Drive the adoption of value management principles across the digital product portfolio. Develop metrics and KPIs to measure the impact of product initiatives on customer outcomes and business performance and ensure that product strategies are continuously refined based on customer value delivery and market dynamics. Develop and maintain domain expertise on new technologies and intelligence on market development and competitive landscape. Lead and be accountable for the commercial readiness of all new product / feature launches for the entire CCS portfolio, in collaboration with an extended supporting team. Drive close collaboration with colleagues in various global subsidiaries to develop country-specific commercialization strategies and share best practices. Work closely with upstream product management and CTO teams to bring voice of customer and voice of market into the product, solution, workflow vision and roadmaps. Education and Experience: Bachelor or Master’s degree in life sciences, engineering or business. Minimum 10 years total professional work experience. Minimum 5 years’ experience and proven success in product management. Minimum 5 years’ experience in the medical device or dental industry. Minimum 5 years’ experience in people leadership and a proven track record of people development. Extensive knowledge and understanding of digital solutions in dentistry. Extensive experience leading complex product launches. Fluent in English; other languages are an asset. Comfortable with up to 20-30% travel.
