As On continues its rapid expansion, our Talent team is in search of a dynamic and passionate Director of Engagement, Growth and Culture to lead our transformative journey. This critical role is dedicated to enriching On's distinctive culture and enhancing the overall experience of our team members. The Director will focus on fostering professional growth, leadership development, and talent management. Additionally, they will drive organizational design and effectiveness, empowering individuals at On to thrive and contribute to high-performing teams.
Your Mission
Guide the strategy, design, and delivery of programs that enhance our culture, individual growth, leadership development, and organizational design and effectiveness at On.
Hire, coach, and retain a team that champions the mission and vision of your area.
Lead the team and sub-functions related to:
Growth and Leadership: A team in charge to intervene and action initiatives that allow for individual growth, as well as best-in-class leadership.
Talent Management & Organization Design and Effectiveness: a team in charge of our annual engagement survey, talent management and feedback cycle, as well as organization design and effectiveness - to ensure we empower teams to reach the highest performance.
Future Talent: a team in charge of our internships and apprenticeship programs.
Take charge of developing our senior leadership team with tailored programs that reflect the company's stage and their personal growth needs.
Work closely with other Talent functions to align initiatives with On's strategic goals.
Establish clear metrics for assessing the effectiveness of the function. Use data-driven insights to refine approaches and demonstrate the impact of these initiatives on organizational success.
Your Story
+8 years of experience in Talent Development, Talent Management, and Learning and Development functions within Talent/HR Functions; in large organizations (+3'000 team members / >4Bn$ Revenue).
Demonstrate a proven track record in strategic planning and execution within talent development; This includes setting long-term goals and aligning them with business objectives.
Understanding of and experience with cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace; Experience working in multicultural environments or international companies would be beneficial.
Experience in leading change management initiatives, demonstrating the ability to manage resistance and effectively communicate changes to support business transformation.
You have experience working for an innovation-driven company.
Experience leading large teams with multidisciplinary expertise.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy thinking outside the box.
You have great communication skills across various stakeholders and levels - Leaders, Talent Business Partners, and external parties.
You have strong analytical skills - you are able to tell a story with data.
You thrive when navigating ambiguous projects; You know how to simplify complex topics and can focus on what matters.
