Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accurate accounts. The ideal candidate will take initiative, push for financial accuracy, and ensure that our bookkeeping processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and reconcile financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
2. Process invoices, payments, and expenses accurately and in a timely manner.
3. Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting and forecasting.
4. Handle bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
5. Assist with tax filings and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
6. Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation.
7. Proactively identify and resolve discrepancies in accounts to ensure accuracy.
8. Work closely with management to support financial planning and reporting.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Proven experience as a bookkeeper, accountant, or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in accounting software - Bexio / Abacus
3. Strong understanding of financial principles and bookkeeping practices.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Must be proactive in identifying and correcting financial discrepancies.
6. Strong communication and organizational skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Work Schedule:
* 10-20 hours per week
