Job Description
The EHS Manager plays a critical role in ensuring safety, environmental compliance, and risk management. The successful candidate will support the Swiss teams across three locations, including the headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical guidance and support to country MDs, line managers, and employees.
* Implement the EHS strategy and set targets based on regional and corporate demands.
* Maintain a strong presence as an EHS role model and lead by example.
* Plan and execute Gemba Walks and ACS 365 safety dialogues to identify areas for improvement and develop a safety mindset.
* Deliver risk and safety awareness training to field-based managers, team leads, and technicians.
* Evaluate the effective implementation of EHS programs and safety campaigns.
* Develop and strengthen the Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Manage incidents reported in the EHS IT Reporting Tool, including report creation, investigation, corrective actions, lessons learned, closure, and distribution.
* Organize and manage the Country Annual Inspection Program, ensuring timely completion and follow-up on actions.
* Support internal and external audits for ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, focusing on EHS-related non-conformities, observations, and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
* A degree in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) or a related field, such as technology.
* Practical experience in field service activities with a focus on customer orientation.
* Familiarity with EHS IT reporting tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft business applications and basic IT skills.
* A valid driving license and medical fitness for site inspections, visits, and Gemba Walks.
* A hands-on approach, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for exploring new ideas.
* Flexibility to travel between locations for up to 50% of the time.
* Fluency in German and English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
