As a Process Safety Specialist (m/w/d), you will directly report to our EHS Director and you will join our our EHS Department.

In this exciting role you will :
* Be the leader of Vernier’s PROCESS SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
o Provide counsel and technical assistance in Process Safety to Production Managers, Production Experts and R&D process development teams
o Be an expert at determining the necessary risk mitigation during safety reviews or as a stand-alone task, help developing process safety concepts
o Be responsible for PRA site catalog
o Lead to process risk identification and assessment in partnership with Fragrance and Beauty Ingredients industrialization, Delivery systems development and production partners in site and between sites, final reports, action prioritization and implementation
o MOC Validation
o Contribute to improve the process safety knowledge and culture, on the site and beyond
o Be an active contributor in cross-functional projects for the site
o Link with OPAM, ATEX, IH, and Environment

Your success profile includes :
* MSc or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Organic Chemistry with 5 years’ experience in Chemical Process Safety
* A deep experience of industrial risks assessment in the chemical industry
* Experience as a leader in a chemical production plant or R&D chemical plant
* Good knowledge in the fields of ATEX, Safety Instrumented Systems, Machinery Safety
* Personal HSE mindset and culture
* Fluent in French and English (C1)
