About the company
Our client is a Swedish scale up that provides drug discovery services. The company operates globally and is now looking for a Senior Regional Sales Manager to expand and develop the market in Position is responsible for managing and nurturing long-term relationships with key customers to drive our client’s growth and ensure exceptional customer satisfaction. Your main task will be to understand the customer's needs, translate into sales opportunity and drive the sales process. This critical role requires a combination of significant sales expertise, exceptional communication skills and a keen ability to proactively anticipate and manage customer requirements.
Your responsibilities
1. Drive sales growth of our client's service portfolio.
2. Lead Generation by attending conferences, targeting key customers, and expanding contact base within accounts.
3. Profiling and qualification of customers
4. Deliver presentations, lead discussions, and manage follow up with customers.
5. Handle the financial discussions with the customer
6. Negotiating service and business agreements with prospects and clients. Support other KAM/Sales Managers and PAs with questions related to agreements
7. Lead marketing activities, such as developing marketing material or representing our client at international scientific conferences
8. Drive market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and identify potential growth areas
9. Expand account revenue through upselling, cross-selling, and contract renewals while achieving set sales targets
10. Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within key accounts to drive revenue growth.
11. Seek and grow new business opportunities within their existing key clients
12. Support account managers and representatives to ensure client satisfaction
13. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients at the executive level
14. Support strategic planning and developing account growth strategies
15. Mentoring newly recruited or less experienced KAM/Sales Managers in sales process
16. Building strategies for Key Accounts together with responsible KAM/Sales Managers, creating goals that comply with corporate objectives
17. Following up on Key Account strategy execution
Your profile
18. MSc or PhD within Life Science, Biochemistry, Molecular or Cell Biology, Biophysics, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics or related and relevant field
19. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development role in the life science industry
20. Strong track record of building and maintaining successful client relationships.
21. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
22. Demonstrated ability to understand client needs and present tailored solutions effectively.
23. An in-depth understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitors
24. Strong understanding of customer needs, anticipating their requirements, and being able to provide customized solutions
25. Exceptional sales skills, including the ability to negotiate complex contracts and handle objections effectively.
26. Fluent German and English language skills
