Senior Director New Technologies Brewing & Processing Group
The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) in Switzerland integrates a number of central functions in the Carlsberg Group: H&S, Quality, Procurement, Production, Logistics and Planning. Group H&S is developing, communicating and driving an effective coordinated H&S Strategy for ISC and commercial teams. Group ISC manages the brewery network, handles the global procurement processes, sets the global standards for quality, brewing technology, ensures end-to-end planning and aims to deliver world-class logistics and customer service.

Purpose of the Position:
The purpose of the position Senior Director New Technologies Brewing & Processing Group is to own/develop and drive actively and successfully the E2E New Technologies scope of Brewing & Processing, from idea generation to successful implementations for:
1. New equipment from idea generation, via piloting to 1st industrial equipment installation incl. SAT, trainings and -material, plus handover to Manufacturing.
2. New processes from idea generation until implementation/deployment.

Experience & Education:
* 15+ years operational experience in the FMCG/brewing industry, preferably within Breweries with strong stakeholder skills.
* Internal Carlsberg experiences would be supportive.
* Minimum of a Degree in Brewing.
* Functional technical experience in Brewing & Processing plus other areas of a brewery, including equipment.
Language:
* Fluent in English (spoken and written).
Job Responsibilities:
1. Owns/develops and drives actively and successfully the E2E New Technologies scope of Brewing & Processing, from idea generation to successful implementations for:
* New equipment from idea generation, via piloting to 1st industrial equipment installation incl. SAT, trainings and -material, plus handover to Manufacturing.
* New processes from idea generation until implementation/deployment.
* Closely collaborate with Carlsberg Research Touchpoints with CRL to be aware of technology and technical pipelines.
1. Owns/drives the future pipeline for NewTech evolutionary projects and the “joint CRL/CB-Foundation financed” evolutionary new Processes and Equipments.
* NewTech internal interface to the “new idea generation SPOC” through the Carlsberg pipeline.
* Reaching out to Brewing Universities for screening their NewTech equipment/process projects/pipelines.
* Screening/participating in summit contents/summits for checking NewTech trends and developments.
2. Drive/develop/deploy actively all New Technologies related AI activities/projects within the B&P scope.
* Own and develop the AI driven activities, projects within the scope of Brewing & Processing.
* Coordinate all existing AI related NewTech projects/initiatives within Brewing & Processing with the NewTech AI-owner (Sen. Dir. NewTech Production).
* Close cooperation in this case with CRL, CB-IT and ISC Group.
3. Screen the supplier’s landscape for New Technologies equipment and in case of setting up joint projects, own and drive them.
* Check constantly the NewTech B&P related machine supplier and start-ups for their new developed equipment/process improvements and in case of benefits, set up joint projects.
* Own and drive these projects with all related internal Carlsberg stakeholders.
4. Be the New Tech SPOC for CRL (Carlsberg Research Laboratory).
* Strong cooperation with CRL by being the SPOC and actively leading the TechEx meetings.
* Coordinate the NewTech CRL related topics.
* Support the CRL-NewTech Budget preparations.
5. Support the “ISC NewTech & CRL commercialization” in that defined scope.
* Support the commercialization agenda in terms of descriptions, training materials and advert descriptions in the field of Brewing & Processing.

Internal: Regional ISC Management teams across all 3 regions, ISC functional teams (Procurement, Customer Supply Chain, Quality-B&P, Manufacturing-Engineering, Controlling, etc.), Group Commercial, Group Development, Carlsberg Research Laboratory.
