Tasks and Job Requirements
* Conduct high-quality research at the intersection of AI, health informatics, and human-computer interaction (HCI).
* Design and evaluate interactive health system interfaces that improve transparency and interpretability for SCI health services.
* Investigate user experience (UX) principles to enhance clinicians' trust in AI-based health systems.
* Assess the ethical and regulatory implications of AI-driven decision-making in healthcare settings.
* Conduct empirical studies involving healthcare professionals to validate proposed models and interfaces.
* Publish high-quality research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Your Profile
* Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), AI, Biomedical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
* Strong background in AI, machine learning, and/or explainable AI.
* Experience in UI/UX design, HCI, or human-centered AI.
* Strong programming skills and familiarity with modern AI frameworks. Knowledge of XAI frameworks is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including health professionals.
* Creative and able to communicate complex information.
* Fluent in English. German fluency is a significant advantage.
