Job Title:
Wealth Management Business Risk Manager (BRM)
Mission and Values:
* Foster, promote and maintain the appropriate quality of business deliveries of WM teams with regards to AML, CDB, Sanctions, Risk Appetite and KYT/KYC subjects.
* Act as an intermediary between Compliance and WM markets on AML, CDB, Sanctions, Risk Appetite and KYC/KYT subjects.
* Actively contribute to the WM Markets awareness on these subjects.
* Adept a change-oriented approach and propose solutions to enhance the quality and the effectiveness of processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure that corporate guidelines and standards are applied and aligned with the Swiss and group policies within the BRM function in Zurich.
* Lead and manage a team of 4 people.
* Ensure appropriate coverage of the UBP Zurich and Basel WM markets by the BRMs.
* Coordinate BRMs activities to ensure timeliness in the tasks management.
* Ensure adequate AML and KYC risk mitigation and adherence to Bank's qualitative risk appetite on client onboardings, change in circumstances (CIC), and other reviews.
* Synchronize with WM Compliance teams as well as Central File teams to ensure standards are met on onboarding, mutations (CiC) and client reviews and to escalate any detected risks or operational issues.
Requirements:
* 7-10 years of experience in Compliance (Financial Crime) activities, or a similar position.
* Minimum 7 years' experience required.
* Further education in Compliance required for this role.
* Expertise in the Mediterranean market is desired for this role.
* Fluent in English; German and/or Turkish and/or Greek and/or Hebrew skills are a benefit for this role.
* Experience in private banking: Mandatory.

This is a 100% role located in Zurich. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 4 people and ensuring the implementation of effective risk management strategies across WM teams.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to interact with different levels of seniority. They will also possess expertise in the Mediterranean market and be fluent in English.
As a key member of the WM BRM function, the successful candidate will contribute to the success of the missions and values of the team, including fostering a culture of compliance and risk awareness within the organization.
