Assistant Electrician Role

The Assistant Electrician works closely with the Electrical department to efficiently complete assigned tasks and responsibilities.


* Follow instructions from the Chief Electrician regarding electrical equipment maintenance procedures.
* Assist Electricians in maintaining hotel machinery as needed.
* Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to injury prevention rules and minimizing material waste.
* Ensure cleanliness and organization of electrician rooms, tools, and workshop areas.
* Perform daily checks and replace burned lamps.

Required Qualifications

* Intermediate-level English language proficiency (working and safety languages used by the Company); additional languages such as Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish, Russian, or French are also valuable.
* Previous experience in a similar role within MSC or other Cruise companies, or relevant field experience, with a willingness to train.
* High School graduate with necessary licenses.
* Team player and proactive individual.
