About the Role:
Our client is a market leader in delivering advanced technical solutions to clients across the DACH region. As a Technical Sales Representative (m/w/d), you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between complex technical products and customer needs. This role requires a strong combination of technical acumen and commercial awareness, with fluency in German being essential to effectively support and grow our German-speaking customer base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Serve as the primary technical contact for clients in the DACH region
* Understand customer requirements and propose tailored technical solutions
* Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical consultations (on-site and remotely)
* Prepare detailed quotations, technical proposals, and project calculations
* Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to align customer needs with product capabilities
* Maintain CRM records and contribute to sales forecasting and reporting
* Stay up to date with market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
* Support business development efforts through technical input and customer engagement
Your profile:
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or similar) or a related technical field
* Experience in technical sales, pre-sales engineering, or application engineering preferred
* Strong technical problem-solving skills and customer-oriented mindset
* Fluency in German (written and spoken) is mandatory
* Proficiency in English for internal communication and documentation
* Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team
* Willingness to travel within the DACH region
