We are seeking a Terminal Investment Director (TID) to oversee and optimize the performance of a portfolio of terminal investments within Ti L (Terminal Investment Limited). Reporting directly to the CEO, the TID will act as a key representative in terminal joint ventures, driving value creation, operational excellence, and long-term strategic growth. This role involves close collaboration with joint venture partners, terminal management teams, and senior stakeholders to ensure our investments meet both performance and financial objectives. Key Responsibilities Represent Ti L’s interests in joint ventures, fostering strong partnerships with terminal leadership and Board members. Ensure good corporate governance, providing oversight and strategic direction to terminal management. Steer capacity and productivity development plans, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals. Assess terminal performance standards, collaborating with the Ti L Terminal Efficiency team to develop and implement improvement plans. Identify risks impacting Ti L’s investments, implementing proactive mitigation strategies. Work closely with the Finance team to establish annual budgets, performance targets, and reforecasting strategies. Develop a deep understanding of each terminal’s business model, maximizing return on investment while ensuring Ti L’s service levels. Collaborate with Business Development on long-term planning, major capital expenditures, and financial strategies. Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and operational challenges, adapting investment strategies accordingly. Build and nurture relationships with terminal management, joint venture partners, port authorities, and key customers. Ensure strong senior management retention, fostering a high-performance culture with structured performance incentives. Work cross-functionally with internal teams (Finance, Legal, HSE, Engineering, Audit) to identify risks, opportunities, and best practices. To be considered for this role, you should have the following experience: Industry Expertise: Strong understanding of financial reporting, investment performance, and terminal industry drivers. Previous experience in a C-level operational role within a terminal is essential. Investment & Operational Acumen: Experience in managing joint ventures, capital investments, and strategic business planning. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess financial, operational, and market dynamics, providing actionable insights. Stakeholder Management: A skilled negotiator and relationship builder, adept at working across diverse cultures and nationalities. Hands-On Approach: Detail-oriented and execution-driven, ensuring continuous performance optimization. Communication Excellence: Proficiency in English, with strong presentation and reporting skills.
