About the Role
We are seeking a highly capable individual to join our team as a Accounting Team Leader. You will report to Head of Finance and in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of our Finance Department in accordance with the instructions provided by the direct line manager, management board, and legal provisions, as well as adhering to the Coesia group guidelines. Your primary focus will be to ensure timely reporting to the group and internal units. You will establish efficient & effective finance processes and contribute towards the increase of profitability of Hapa in business & accounting matters.
Responsibilities
1. Month & year-end closing of accounts including accruals, provisions & closing entries and capitalisation of R&D costs (in accordance with CFO)
2. Finance & accounting for Hapa: duly and reliable management of accounts according to IFRS and Swiss law for general and sub-ledgers (AR, AP, Fixed Assets)
3. Payment transactions with banks & petty cash management. Preparation of cash forecast. Monitoring of outstanding bank guarantees. Timely preparation of VAT return & VAT turnover reconciliation, responsible for the VAT Know-how.
4. Foreign Currency Exposure: monitor exposure and ensure coverage of risks with Forward Hedging Contracts. Informs Head of Finance continuously about financial risks and opportunities
5. Maintain IKS control system
6. Support of interdepartmental ad-hoc projects from accounting point of view.
7. Monthly monitoring and reporting of Opex (incl. forecasting & budgeting together with respective cost center responsibles)
8. Collaborate with cost center responsibles to ensure accurate financial planning and allocation of resources.
What You Need To Be Successful
9. German and English fluently spoken and written
10. Swiss Federal Diploma on Finance & Accounting or similar
11. Experience in accounting & work-in-progress
12. Strong skills in Microsoft office tools and other finance tools (ERP)
13. Experience managing a team
14. Hands-on, team player mentality
