Bureau Veritas Job Description
We are seeking a qualified Multi-scheme Auditor for the Switzerland Area, located in the greater Zurich area or eastern part of Switzerland.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage relationships with clients and implement a total customer focus approach;
* Conduct audits efficiently and competently, as required by instructions/Quality System and/or formal agreements between the client and Bureau Veritas;
* Plan and execute audits, report findings and follow-up within agreed timescales and economic frameworks;
* Ensure correct use of production tools dedicated to auditing activities and communicate updated data to issue and manage certificates properly;
* Perform back-office tasks such as contacting customers to confirm planned activities;
* Act as a team player who works well with others and guides through professional development processes, including timely completion of reviews and goal setting;
* Assess the effectiveness of organization policies, procedures, and controls in meeting scheme requirements;
* Identify gaps or non-conformities and provide recommendations for remediation;
* Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to management.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Experience as Lead Auditor in mentioned schemes;
* Familiarity with various industry standards and certifications would be highly advantageous;
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for navigating multi-scheme auditing complexities;
* Willingness to travel to customer sites;
* Ability to handle basic software programs and IT tools;
* Confident communication in German and English (French is a plus).
