Santiago Calatrava seeks experienced STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS to work on unusual and demanding international building and bridge projects in our Head Office in Zurich.
Tasks
Structural design in building and bridge construction throughout all phases of design
Technical project management
Development of structural concepts in reinforced concrete, steel and timber construction
Coordination of construction drawings
Coordination with other disciplines and specialists
Preparation of the structural reports and tender documentation
Presentation of the planning results
Dependent on the applicant's profile: project management and client/stakeholder management
Requirements
University Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years experience (post graduate)
Chartered, Professional Engineer or equivalent status (or working towards such an accreditation)
Experience on medium/large scale building, bridge or other infrastructure projects preferably from Concept design through to Construction on site
Experience coordinating with other consultants
Experience in FEM modelling software. Candidates with experience using Sofistik, SAP2000 or Cubus software suites will be treated preferentially.
Fluent in English and/or German. Other languages are considered a plus.
You are organised and efficient. You are able to work independently as well as part of a team. You have great communication skills.
EU or Swiss Nationality or otherwise eligible for employment in Switzerland
