We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Designer to contribute to our development and customer programs.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and producing 2D and 3D CAD components and sub-systems of radio frequency systems according to specifications provided by the internal design office and customers.
The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical design roles on complex assemblies, preferably with a minimum of two years of experience.
1. Design and produce 2D and 3D CAD models of components and sub-systems, adhering to strict quality and accuracy standards.
2. Prepare manufacturing files and determine construction strategies for parts that often require complex manufacturing processes.
3. Create technical documentation, including user guides, assembly procedures, and work instructions.
4. Develop mechanical assemblies and define associated nomenclatures and assembly plans.
5. Introduce, check, and modify nomenclatures in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
6. Contribute to technical exchanges with subcontractors during the design phase.
7. Participate in dimensional readings of parts and sub-assemblies.
8. Collaborate with project managers, mechanical, electrical, and 3D engineer colleagues.
Required Experience and Competencies:
1. Minimum two years of experience in a mechanical design role on complex assemblies.
2. Proficiency in SolidWorks software.
3. Demonstrated ability to write clear and high-quality technical documentation.
4. Organized, methodical, precise, meticulous, and autonomous individual.
5. Excellent communication skills, good people skills, and ability to integrate into a multicultural team.
6. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
7. Fluent English language proficiency is essential.
