As Sustainability Process Engineer - Water/Wastewater Specialist, you will manage projects execution within sustainability department with major focus on development and implementation of creative ideas and concepts for industrial water and wastewater treatment, water quality monitoring, collection and analysis of actual semiconductor plants data, serving Ovivo customers.

The role is based in Witterswil, Solothurn (Basel Area), Switzerland, with good public transport connection (Tram 10) and free car parking. The role will require some international travelling.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage execution of sustainability projects in water treatment from the idea to successful implementation and market launch
* Lead implementation of creative ideas, concepts and strategies of water consumption reduction, reuse and recycling for the semiconductor industry
* Develop new digital tools essential for defining complete water management strategies for high complexity systems
* Serve customers throughout sustainability projects lifetime
* Design, pilot and evaluate water and wastewater treatment processes
* Implement and test prototypes and pilot plants
* Conduct literature and web research
* Create and contribute to future know-how of the company
* Write technical documentation and reports
Requirements
* Bachelor's or master's degree in science, preferably in Chemical / Process / Industrial Engineering
* At least 3-5 years of non-academic professional experience in industrial water or wastewater treatment technologies such as P&IDs, PFDs, mass balances, OPEX, etc.
* Experience in process engineering, water or wastewater systems design and set up.
* Interest in developing into the area of process engineering and becoming an expert in the field
* Good understanding of economics and sustainability context
* Show self-initiative and creativity; be flexible and able to work under pressure
* Be mobile and like to travel worldwide also over several weeks
* Have a good team-oriented working attitude with excellent communication skills to work in close co-operation with our other internal international departments, suppliers and customers
* Fluent in English (spoken and written). German, French or other languages are an added value
* Swiss or EU citizen or have a C Swiss resident permit
