We are looking for a Project Manager Ventures to join our Group Function in Winterthur, Switzerland.
In this role you will play a pivotal role in identifying new business opportunities, managing innovative projects, and fostering strategic partnerships. This role combines analytical thinking, project leadership, and financial acumen to bring cutting-edge ventures to life.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:
* Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and assess market potential.
* Plan and manage projects for acquiring existing businesses and implementing new innovative business ideas.
* Monitor and analyse the financial performance of venture businesses.
* Propose and implement strategic actions based on financial data insights.
* Conduct detailed market, competition, and target group analyses to inform decision-making.
* Analyse and assess potential corporate investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
* Develop business cases and financial models to support strategic decisions.
* Identify and establish strategic partnerships to create synergies with existing Sulzer businesses.
* Participate in company visits to evaluate potential venture partners' strategies and business models on site.
* Plan and monitor project budgets to ensure cost compliance and accountability.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
* 5+ years of experience in project management with a background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is highly desirable.
* Strong business acumen in organising and implementing complex projects, ideally with a focus on new business development, innovation management, and company valuations.
* Affinity for innovations, trends, and emerging technologies; analytical and strategic thinking skills; results-driven mindset.
* Fluency in German and English is a must.
