About the Role
We're seeking a talented Community Builder to champion the story of Cilium, eBPF, and Isovalent. Your mission will be to craft engaging content that brings our open-source community to life.
Main Responsibilities
* Nurture relationships with end-users and developers to showcase Cilium's impact and Isovalent's contributions in the open-source ecosystem.
* Manage social media presence for our brands, collaborating with the marketing team to deliver authentic and compelling messaging.
* Stay aligned with Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding and content across Cilium, eBPF, and Isovalent projects.
* Partner with CNCF, eBPF Foundation, and other open-source communities to build the Cilium and Isovalent brands through events, content, CfP, and community activities.
* Engage directly with end-users to understand their value realization from Cilium projects and Isovalent, and bring their insights back into our organization.
* Collaborate with technical evangelists to highlight Isovalent's leadership in open-source contributions.
Key Tasks
* Promote Cilium community and Isovalent work through various social media channels, including @ciliumproject, @ebpfsummit, @isovalent, and Cilium slack.
* Create, edit, format, and publish content on Cilium and ebpf.io blogs from internal and external sources.
* Showcase end-user success stories from Cilium projects through blogs, case studies, and talks.
* Help organize events like eBPF Summit and track CfP to send attendees to online and offline events showcasing Isovalent's open-source work.
* Brianstorm and implement innovative ways to engage the open-source community and expand our reach.
* Manage tech-related social media accounts (personal or professional).
* Minimum 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes or other cloud-native technologies.
