Your new responsibilities
1. Design, implement, and validate applications for controlling HVAC systems
2. Develop future-oriented building equipment analytics applications
3. Be part of an agile R&D team, where you can develop and share your knowledge, mentor other team members, and collaborate with Product Management
4. This position offers the potential to grow into a technical leadership role with architectural responsibility and/or team leadership
Your skills and experience
5. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science is preferred, along with excellent analytical skills and a strong interest in building control applications
6. Experience in the development of HVAC applications and algorithms
7. Familiarity with the latest programming concepts and languages (preferably Python)
8. A proactive, motivated, and committed individual who enjoys collaborating with other teams in a global setup
9. Ability to adapt to change in a flexible and agile project environment
10. Fluency in both written and spoken English is a must; German skills are considered a significant plus
Skills and experiences considered a plus:
11. Experience in the development of Air Handling Unit (AHU), Heating, and Cooling applications.
12. Experience with Function Block Diagram (FBD) or Structured Text (ST) programming.
13. Good understanding of Building Automation protocols and standards (Modbus, KNX, BACnet, etc.).
14. Knowledge of systems and control theory.
15. Expertise in ontologies and related concepts such as RDF.
16. Familiarity with methods and services in the context of data analysis.
