Job Summary
The Associate Specialist, Vector Control and Condoms & Lubricants will support the implementation of Vector Control and Condoms and Lubricants category strategies with a focus on supplier allocation, supplier performance KPI reporting, and operation in the procurement platform and system.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive global category strategies for assigned product categories.
* Manage the end-to-end global tender process from developing detailed specifications to evaluating bids, awarding contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.
* Create a dynamic supplier allocation algorithm to inform the supplier allocation and operate in the procurement platform and system accordingly.
* Implement and optimize value delivery through supply and demand interventions, including the Vector Control-related volume guarantee operation and risk mitigation plans.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to support supplier performance management and monitoring.
* Gather and consolidate procurement data from various sources, including purchase orders, contracts, supplier databases, and market intelligence platforms.
* Cleanse, validate, and organize data to ensure accuracy and consistency for analysis.
* Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses on procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement.
* Develop regular reports on key procurement metrics, such as spend analysis, supplier performance, contract compliance, savings realized, risk assessment, and other reporting.
* Create clear and concise visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
* Degree in health, science, or business field.
* At least 3-5 years proven working experience in procurement and supply chain management both in the public and/or private sector.
