A Day in the Life
Medtronic is hiring a Training and Education Specialist committed to Affera, a system designed to address procedural challenges faced by the electrophysiology community while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficacy for patients by enabling a single transeptal, zero-fluoroscopy, and zero-exchange workflow, eventually offering the flexibility to use either pulsed field or radiofrequency energy.
In the role, you will play a pivotal role in upscaling the knowledge of the existing field force members, eventually reporting to a Senior Training and Education Program Manager for Western Europe.
Responsibilities
* Plan, develop, deliver and coordinate in-house product training programs for field support personnel and customers, preparing training material, developing course content, and determining methodology.
* Ensure training program meets company and customer objectives, maintain communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training, and continuously revise lesson plans to meet new training requirements.
* Influence the design of new indication and product launch education plans based on business strategy.
* Design and execute engaging Field Sales and Technical Consultants Education programs to increase electrophysiology knowledge and skills.
* Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Product Marketing, Sales, Product Development, Services, Legal, Quality, and Regulatory) to create education programs and materials that support business unit strategies.
* Demonstrate education effectiveness through systematic program evaluation and continuous improvement strategy.
Required Knowledge and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or advanced, master’s degree.
* 2-4 years of relevant Electrophysiology and Training experience.
* At least 2 years of 3D Mapping and Navigation experience in electrophysiology procedures.
* Fluency in English, with fluency in further European languages being a strong asset.
* Availability to travel for up to 50% of working time.
* Collaboration and Inclusion skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with external customers.
* Strong working knowledge of Training & Education of Medical device program curriculum build and delivery processes.
