The key responsibilities can be outlined as follows. These may evolve with time, new projects and specific needs arising:- To be a “first responder”, the go-to person internally for staff as well as externally for parents- To handle the official e-mail, manage the agenda, organise meetings, prepare forms and documents or presentations, etc. in collaboration with the different departments of the school- To prepare, translate and/or proof-read documents in English, and where possible in French- To take charge of the overall school calendar and pre-empt clashes or difficulties- To help with administrative tasks of the leadership team (French Bac, Accreditations, updating internal information)- To follow projects by handling the priorities, involving stakeholders and monitoring progress- To coordinate and manage travel arrangements for the senior leadership team including trips that they organise with students- To act in the capacity of default minute-writer in some meetings, proof-read and publish other minutes- To receive, organise and respond to teaching and senior job applications, organise interviews, and lead the on-boarding process- To coordinate visits and special events on campus with external visitors The candidate will:- Be a native English speaker with impressive writing skills- Be able to work in French; a good knowledge of German would be an advantage- Can demonstrate organisation skills as well as a track record of initiatives and independent work- Be prepared to spend 2 winter months in Gstaad- Be comfortable with computers in general and especially the Office suite- Have a strong sense of community- Act with tact and discretion jid399af9ba jit0416a jiy25a
