The internship will focus on delivering a specific project: developing a tool to ingest tabular data into a database and designing an interface that enables auditors to compare data from various sources, including OCR-extracted information. To ensure a thorough understanding of the engineering requirements and context, the trainee will work closely with the audit team and may attend activities at F1 stakeholder locations, the FIA Remote Operations Centre, and other relevant events.
MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES:
* Research, document, and develop a tool to ingest tabular data from F1 team inventory, ERP, and lifecycle data
* Support the creation and optimization of database tools, visualization, and analytics from multiple F1 data sources
* Design and implement a user interface for database interrogation, facilitating comparisons for audits and reports
* Collaborate with other departments to standardize data collection, storage, and access protocols
PROFILE:
* Current student in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
* Excellent level of English (C1), French is an asset
* Knowledge and interest in some of the following areas:
* Programming languages: Python, Java, C++, C#
* Development of WebApps or GUI applications
* Reporting tools: Power BI, Tableau
* Image processing tools: OCR
* Data preprocessing and cleaning techniques
* AI/ML tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of the wider team
* Analytical approach to solving complex tasks defined within tight timeframes
