* Develop and cultivate customer relationships to drive business growth and achieve targets for new signalling projects and order intake awards.
* Prepare and negotiate offers for new projects, ensuring alignment with customer needs and company objectives.
* Conduct in-depth technical and market research to identify opportunities, create strategic plans, and provide regular reporting on market trends.
* Manage and report on the commercial and technical status of offers, as well as project risks, to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
* Monitor upcoming projects through continuous market analysis to anticipate trends and identify competitive advantages or shifts.
How you will contribute
* Possess an academic degree with a strong technology focus in fields such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Engineering, or related disciplines.
* Hold 10-15 years of experience in the railway, automotive, or aviation industry (Engineering, Commissioning) or in management consulting, with advanced knowledge of railway standards like IEEE and EN would be advantageous.
* Demonstrate a solid understanding of digital technologies & services applicable to signaling offers, and excel in consultative and value-based selling of products and solutions.
* Display a keen interest in negotiating across different cultures, coupled with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
* Availability to travel worldwide (30-50%)
* Fluent in English is key, additional languages like German or French are beneficial.
