We have grown stronger through more than 40 financial crises by rethinking the world around us to provide a fresh investment perspective for our clients.The Compliance COO team provides transversal support to the Compliance unit and in particular:Ensure Compliance has the right resources to operate effectively, in terms of budget, systems, processes, information, governance (“Run the Bank”)Define, drive and oversee the Compliance transformation agenda (“Change the Bank”)We are a small and dynamic team, involved in numerous activities and projects both within Compliance and across the Lombard Odier Group.YOUR ROLE:As Manager, Compliance Risk and Governance, you will report to the Compliance COO and will be responsible for:Supporting the Compliance COO in the establishment and management of the Unit’s governance, budgeting and organisational processesEstablishing and maintaining solid governance for the Compliance unit in alignment with the Governance of our Bank and ensuring that Compliance has the adequate information/decision bodies.Overseeing the production of Compliance reports to the governing committees of the Bank and to our Regulatory bodies and act as the key point of contact for Compliance management informationPartner with the Compliance Management team to optimize the Unit’s effectiveness, enhance communication, and identify areas of continuous improvementOversee and coordinate the resolution of formal issues assigned to Compliance steaming from Regulators, Auditors (External and Internal) and our internal control framework.Act as the Unit’s Business Risk manager in charge of ensuring alignment and compliance with all internal business and risk policies and guidelines and the management of operational issues and incidents for ComplianceRepresenting Compliance in Group forums and projects and ensuring perfect alignment and integration with the Bank’s strategic vision.Lead Continuous improvements initiatives and ad-hoc projects where requiredYOUR PROFILE:University degree in Finance, Law, Business Management, or related fields, or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement;7/10 years of experience in a comparable role in Financial Services, Audit and/or Consulting. Experience of working in a Compliance or Risk function would be a significant plus;A sound understanding of Corporate Governance and Risk Frameworks;Strong analytical skills, the ability to summarize complex topics, drive practical outcomes and to make sound, evidenced-backed recommendations, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and against short deadlines;Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment, and a willingness to learn and evolve within the team;Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills, both written and oral and the ability to foster productive relationships and build consensus with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical knowledge;Strong IT skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word) ;Fluent in English and French;Resident in Switzerland.Our Maison’s DNA is defined by five core values.
