Key Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, test, and maintain software for UAV systems.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets operational requirements.
* Perform software integration and troubleshoot issues.
* Document software specifications and maintain detailed records of development processes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the software engineering team.
* Technical responsibility for subsystems on the helicopter as well as internal and external contact person for technical clarifications.
* Cooperation for the maintenance of the airworthiness of aircraft
* Responsibility as a subsystem specialist for the assessment of safety-relevant faults and incidents as well as for the preparation of construction deviations.
* Leading cross-departmental teams to analyze complex errors and disruptions.
* Technical and commercial management of helicopter projects from feasibility studies through contract conclusion to successful implementation.
Qualifications:
* Higher technical education (University of Applied Sciences degree) in aviation, mechanical engineering, or electrical engineering.
* Experience in the aviation industry is highly desired.
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
* Confident and professional appearance.
* Sociable, proactive, and assertive personality.
* Team-oriented, flexible, resilient, and responsible.
* Economical thinking and acting.
* Excellent written and spoken German skills are required.
* Very good English skills are desired.
