About the Role
Join Swiss Re and its Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) team as an Associate in the Project and Change Management team. As part of our dynamic and motivated team driving the GFO&T Change agenda, you will support management of a complex, multi-year project portfolio, as well as the Finance change request process. You will be part of a team of project management professionals contributing to high-impact projects and changes. Your key responsibilities include:
1. Supporting the Project and Change Management team in managing and overseeing a portfolio of approx. 30 projects within Finance, managing scope, budget and timeline of a multi-year strategic project portfolio.
2. Supporting the Project and Change Management team in preparing portfolio-wide planning and status reporting, incl preparation of stakeholder alignment meetings and steering committees, providing transparency on the status and progress of the project portfolio.
3. Supporting the Finance Change Request process, coordinating workshops, assessing change requests, collaborating with Finance and IT stakeholders to plan and monitor the change implementation roadmap, and ensuring transparent documentation and reporting.
4. Supporting the Project and Change Management team in maintaining project documentation.
5. Coordinating meetings and workshops, preparing agendas, and taking minutes to ensure effective communication and follow-up on action items.
6. Providing administrative support to the Project Management team, including scheduling, correspondence, and file management.
About the Team
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information Globally for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Group Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organisation. About You
You are a motivated, committed and flexible team player, eager to develop yourself in a dynamic environment. You have good work ethics, inherent motivation, and openness to work on changing topics in a transformational environment.
1. Recent university graduate (ideally in Business Administration, Finance, IT, or a related field) or 1-3 years of professional experience, such as management consulting or project management.
2. A committed and flexible team player with an independent way of working and a can-do attitude, who proactively contributes to the team spirit.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, incl. workshop facilitation.
5. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Understanding of different project management methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, MS Project...) preferred.
7. Experience in (Re)insurance and Finance processes is a plus.
