**Job Title:** Life Science Consultant at Gi Life Sciences
We are seeking a highly skilled commercial excellence specialist to drive data-informed decision-making, enhance commercial capabilities, and support business performance in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.
Purpose of the Role:
This role combines strategic commercial excellence responsibilities with hands-on sales analytics and systems support. The core focus is to provide actionable insights and recommendations to key stakeholders to optimize business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Commercial Excellence Support: Assist the ComEx team with data analysis, insights generation, and commercial reporting to drive sales growth and optimize business performance.
* Sales Force Effectiveness & Perfect Store: Support segmentation and targeting analytics, sales incentive tracking, and KPI monitoring. Participate in the development and implementation of the Perfect Store concept.
* Net Revenue Management (NRM): Contribute to pricing strategy, price pack architecture analysis, promotional effectiveness, trade investment evaluation, and active mix optimization.
* Clinical Supplies Planning: Provide end-to-end user support for internal CRM systems, including system enhancements, master data maintenance, user training, and performance monitoring.
* Data Analytics & BI Reporting: Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Leverage data mining techniques to uncover actionable business insights and present recommendations to key stakeholders.
* Collaboration with IT & Tech: Partner with technical teams to manage the data warehouse, ensure data quality and consistency, and implement data governance standards.
* Training & Capability Building: Prepare training materials and support knowledge-sharing within the Sales organization on analytics tools and data-driven practices.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Work across Finance, Sales, Marketing, and IT in a matrix organization, aligning business goals and supporting change initiatives.
Requirements:
* A university degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
* Strong experience in Finance/Controlling, ideally with exposure to ERP and CRM systems.
* Previous work in FMCG or Pharma environment is strongly preferred.
* A proven track record in data analytics, Power BI, and sales reporting.
* Experience with project management and cross-functional teamwork in a matrix setting.
* Tools & Systems: Proficient in Power BI, Excel, CRM systems, ERP tools (e.g., SAP), and data visualization platforms.
* Familiarity with statistical tools or languages (e.g., Qlik, R) is a plus.
* Fluency in German and English is required. French is an advantage.

A commercially-savvy, analytically driven professional who can navigate between big-picture commercial strategy and hands-on data execution. Someone with a strong finance backbone and technical system know-how, who is also comfortable working with Sales and IT stakeholders to turn insights into impact.
